He is currently the proprietor of Ammar Grinding Mills, located at Plot#75/A, Phase-III, Hattar Industrial Estate, Haripur, where he specializes in the grinding and processing of soapstone. Mr. Akhtar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Peshawar and completed a four-year CA Article Ship with M/S Sajjad Ahmed & Co, Chartered Accountants, affiliated with Morison International, England. His professional experience includes 12 years in senior finance and administrative roles across various reputable organizations, including Jalal & Co Chartered Accountants, SUNGI Development Foundation (NGO), and Army Welfare Trust (Real Estate). In addition to his business pursuits, Mr. Akhtar is actively involved in the industrial community. He has been a dedicated cabinet member of the Hattar Association of Trade & Industries (HATI) for seven years, advocating for the rights of industrialists and facilitating communication with government departments. He has also held leadership roles within the Haripur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (HCCI), including one year as Senior Vice President and two years as a member of the Executive Committee.
